remden
I think it would be useful if Wanda could use her Second Chance Watch for reviving various creatures, possibly as a skill in her future skill tree. This would allow players to kill enemies twice for double loot, especially rare enemies with valuable loot like Ewecus, Bishops and various bosses. To prevent infinitely reviving enemies for infinite loot, the revive could only work once per enemy. It would also be useful for returning player allies like Abigail, Beefalo, Bunnymen, Merms, Spiders and Bernie. Some enemies are easier to replace or find more of than others so the cooldown of the Watch could depend on enemy rarity, common creatures like spiders could set the cooldown to under a minute while bosses would set it to multiple days. 4 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168507-let-wanda-revive-creatures/ Share on other sites
Beetrice
This is an insane idea, with some balancing it could be epic 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168507-let-wanda-revive-creatures/#findComment-1840905 Share on other sites
HowlVoid
If you rewind the death of a creature wouldnt the loot rewind back into its body? I dont think theyre piñatas, i think its their corpses we eat. Personally i think a buff for her second chance watch is to give some invincibility frames when you or other player revive so they dont just instant die again. Beetrice
If it was their corpses we were eating, then why would Horror Hound corpses drop an extra piece of Monster Meat? 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168507-let-wanda-revive-creatures/#findComment-1841142 Share on other sites

I think creature drops staying makes sense considering that player bones stay 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168507-let-wanda-revive-creatures/#findComment-1841155 Share on other sites

I think creature drops staying makes sense considering that player bones stay I wonder if shes really only rewinding time then. It sounds more like shes merging two similar timelines and either replacing the "original" after they die or sacrificing the counterpart. The rewind part is probably just to stabilize an anchor point where the transition/merge can occur or in other words "line them up". Either way if Klei were to go this route it would make more sense to establish a global cooldown amongst all second chance watches and allow it to interact with more things. Multiple resource enclined characters got combat type abilities so this should be more of a universal resource ability for a combat character (Wanda). Make it an aoe that affects all creatures around her within a time frame as well as other resources like harvestables and trees. Edit: Depending on the consumable it could even consume the watch. Like rewinding a mctusk kill. Cruvimaster
The idea is incredible and would solve the problem of some bosses' loot being almost inaccessible to everyone in multiplayer mode. Celestial Champion is the only boss that grants loot access to all players through sequential fights. For Deerclops, the devs created a solution for everyone to obtain Eyebrella. Wanda's biggest benefit would be the loot from Klaus. The best item is rare to obtain for one player, imagine for six. Allowing players to face this boss multiple times is much more interesting than only having the Krampus Sack farming solution. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/168507-let-wanda-revive-creatures/#findComment-1842053 Share on other sites
