Since spores can’t go into the crown when celestial jewels are inserted, could spores be used to change the color of celestial jewels and therefore the crown? You could change them back to normal on a moon dial.

The tinted jewels could provide a more vibrant light like the blue the item has if it were tinted with blue spores.

Also it would be pretty and great if the crown with 5 jewels on still lets you see the color of the world as when fully sane and maybe even more vibrant, although this is a personal preference and it does make sense that being fully enlightened wouldn’t do that, like the bone helm.
