Can't connect to Klei Servers

The game has not been able to properly connect to the servers for more than a week now. I have tried fixing the problem by browsing through the klei forums and steam's support articles but to no avail. In Steam's console i have also found this string: "CAPIJobRequestUserStats - Server response failed 2". The cmd ping command returns no packet loss for login.kleientertainment.com with an ip of 76.223.4.21 . https://login.kleientertainment.com/HealthCheck works (the "ok" string appears). I am using my phone's Wi-Fi hotspot thingy (the router's ethernet cable is not working properly so i'm using my phone) to get access to the internet and have not encountered any connectivity issues, DST also worked perfectly fine while i was connected to the hotspot's wifi until now. Doesn't look like an antivirus/firewall issue, as I've been using the same ones for a year and haven't encountered any issues with them blocking DST's online services. I'll be happy to receive any help, thanks in advance.
