With a recent patch, we've added the ability to stun and kill her, but is that too little for me?
To do this, we will have to try to guide her through the entire biome, which will eventually make it empty due to the lack of fumaroles.

I suggest stunning the new mob with falling boulders and weapons capable of dealing explosive damage like gunpowder or brightshade bombs.

A "tough" component is planned to be added (which, by the way, can already be applied to weapons using a command). Weapons with this component will be able to hit Ripple.

Is there a command itself, or is it impossible to reproduce it properly yet?

For now, I don't think this mob is worth facing. It destroys Boulderbough's seeds in exchange for a few seconds of weakness.

I've been curious about why they didn't put this on the pick/axe and brightshade hammer. Maybe they want to reserve it for an all new weapon, but those two weapons feel like they should be able to.

Maybe they don't because they can't break the dreadstone pillars, only vibrate them?

I imagine this would be the drop of the final shadow arc boss so that dread stone collection is easy in the post-endgame. This would definitely be better than the inimical gestalts (for pure brilliance) in that case

its worthwhile if you dont want to dupe for dreadstone, it drops a very large number per kill and if one has the upgraded cc crown and a bshade staff it gets melted, and this is universal

Try to defeat him so you understand what I'm talking about.

I'm sure this is planned. An unimplemented function in the brain of Ripple hints at lunar objects pushing him into his "run_away" state. It's intentionally commented out, so whether that means an enlightened crown or a tiny moon moth, I don't know. Just speculation. :]
