Keknutui
With a recent patch, we've added the ability to stun and kill her, but is that too little for me? To do this, we will have to try to guide her through the entire biome, which will eventually make it empty due to the lack of fumaroles. I suggest stunning the new mob with falling boulders and weapons capable of dealing explosive damage like gunpowder or brightshade bombs. 6 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167987-mega-blight-has-too-few-ways-to-stun/ Share on other sites
Kacpert25
A "tough" component is planned to be added (which, by the way, can already be applied to weapons using a command). Weapons with this component will be able to hit Ripple. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167987-mega-blight-has-too-few-ways-to-stun/#findComment-1835682 Share on other sites

Yes, it exists. c_spawn("hambat").components.weapon.tough = true Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167987-mega-blight-has-too-few-ways-to-stun/#findComment-1835689 Share on other sites

It destroys Boulderbough's seeds in exchange for a few seconds of weakness. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167987-mega-blight-has-too-few-ways-to-stun/#findComment-1835692 Share on other sites

Maybe they want to reserve it for an all new weapon, but those two weapons feel like they should be able to. Maybe they don't because they can't break the dreadstone pillars, only vibrate them? 4 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167987-mega-blight-has-too-few-ways-to-stun/#findComment-1835701 Share on other sites

I imagine this would be the drop of the final shadow arc boss so that dread stone collection is easy in the post-endgame. This would definitely be better than the inimical gestalts (for pure brilliance) in that case 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167987-mega-blight-has-too-few-ways-to-stun/#findComment-1835723 Share on other sites

An unimplemented function in the brain of Ripple hints at lunar objects pushing him into his "run_away" state. It's intentionally commented out, so whether that means an enlightened crown or a tiny moon moth, I don't know. Just speculation. :] Spoiler Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167987-mega-blight-has-too-few-ways-to-stun/#findComment-1835984 Share on other sites
