Non-renewable volt goats in singleplayer

I've had volt goats in my past three worlds or so go completely extinct, even in the high day counts. This is primarily always due to external factors such as them spawning so closely to hounds, and the first one I recall not even seeing any to begin with. Would there be any possible chance of a quality of life update where volt goats can be renewed through finding a hoof in the dirt like how it operates in Don't Starve Together?

Unfortunately, no. This feature was added much later in DST.
And it has not yet been ported. Currently, there is no information about whether Klei plans to update the game even for the 15th and 20th anniversaries of the game.
