DrMonkeyPants
Just writing this post partly because i would love to see if anyone else thinks the same and partly because i would love for it to become implemented into the game. I think we need a new treeguard for Lune trees and for the new Rock-trees. It would be great for the game. The Lune trees would be mostly a way to get more moonshards in addition to living logs but with the new rock-trees being added as a way to farm gems it might actually be needed for game balance to add some kind of harder treeguard spawning in from these rock-trees to prevent it from being to easy to get gems. Might be very ambitious but depending on the gem that grows from the rock-tree that awakens into a treeguard it could have special properties like blue gem tree guard deals ice and red deals fire forexample. Would like to hear what people think of this idea. 4 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167879-new-kinds-of-treeguards/ Share on other sites
Armonia
Yea it feels kind of a shame that none of the several new tree types have any kind of new treeguards related to them. Lune, palmcone, surprising seed (only likely via Woodie's idols), petrified evergreen, and the beta tree. Though the last one is already kind of a risk so don't expect much more from them. And Hamlet didn't have any new treeguards either,,, still, I got hopes for some update adding them 3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167879-new-kinds-of-treeguards/#findComment-1834812 Share on other sites
gaymime
as someone who just likes making treeguards to have around i would be into it though considering it takes seeds of the respective tree type to pacify a treeguard i think it might be a really poor idea in practice for these types of trees to have guards Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167879-new-kinds-of-treeguards/#findComment-1834818 Share on other sites
