Here's a guide on how to navigate through the Sanctum Ward, reached through the Big Whirpool in the middle of the ocean. This will be updated as the beta updates as well.

I currently made a spreadsheet on google for directions. edit: It's random.

Just bring wood and place directional signs.

Oh that should be nice. I worked on my map too, but the issue was, when I created another world, the teleporters were mixed up and were placed in different places. So it was different than before. Wasn't it like that in your world?

didn't test that, so it's just.. random?

I know there are 13 rooms, and the best way to do this is to bring a bunch of wood and put directional signs on each corner of the room to indicate what room is in that direction, as well as having a central normal sign representing the number of the room. If there are more than 13 random rooms (say there are 14 rooms in a world and 12 in another) then I would be fuming.

Well I believe so, for example I had a teleporter on the left side of the room which led to a portal room. In another world it led to another room. So the teleporters may stay the same in each room, but each time they are placed on different sides of the room. So I think you had left teleporter leading to a portal room. In another world, it would be the right teleporter, not left

I was so disappointed actually because spent so much time creating a map for it just not to work in another world

that would explain why it's so hard to represent an image, it's an actual labyrinthum. Klei should make the number of rooms random and add like 10 more rooms and add monters and traps in them. That would then justify the randomness.

Well, then i guess it would be impossible to find a way out. Don't even know what you are supposed to do if you die there. Idk, starving to death. But yeah, inability to have a proper map is so sad

Tho I also had 13 rooms which may mean there're always 13 rooms

What's interesting is, I think it works as you go. So you can maybe manipulate the position of the rooms by saving space in the second room to be able to go from 10 (puzzle room always) to 2.

Spoiler

In my world, you can see that I went right on from the second room to the sixth, but when I got to 6 it put me in the right of the seventh room.

Nah I'm tripping, in a second world it had a different pattern of placing the specific rooms, Like that room with the fallen chandelier would generate second sometimes.

But I was curious to know how that would work on multiplayer, does everyone just teleport together? And can the maze be used alongside the rest of the caves?

Yeah I see, tho I just wish coders would look in the code and maybe find some specific systems or regularity in how these rooms work. Otherwise it's always gonna be a mess. Or maybe klei would make it easier, especially if it's something very important like a final shadow boss.

As far as I've tested all the players should use the teleporter simultaneously to teleport. Just like lazy deserter. I simply spawned a Wilson and I couldn't go into the next room. Was just standing there with that animation looped
