Idea for renewable Beefalo (lore relevant so you know it's good)

I was thinking of more ways to make currently non-renewable creatures renewable, I enjoy building zoos but unfortunately there's been the odd time a species gets wiped out, Beefalo are one of those species that are completely non-renewable once the last individual has died, so I was thinking what if there was a very small chance for Krampus to spawn a baby beefalo upon death? This would tie into wortoxs animated short, as well as give an oppurtunity to bring back populations if you happen to have an angry deerclops wipe out your last herd by accident 😅
