Gotka_Kotka Posted August 19, 2025 Share Posted August 19, 2025 I wanted to change the length of all seasons to 25 days, so that a year would be exactly 100. When I tried using commands, the length reverted to the default after the world was shut down, and after that, it couldn't be fixed. I also tried using the Season Manager mod, but it didn't work. Is there a way to fix this? SilentConstruct Posted August 20, 2025 Share Posted August 20, 2025 The Quality of Life Update on March 11th 2021 made it impossible to permanently change the seasons via commands as far as I am aware. You'll need a mod for that, though I am not at all familiar with any that are publicly available on the steam workshop. If the goal is simply to have a year last exactly 100 days in length, then the only world setting configurations (That I can think of) that result in a year exactly 100 days long are: Very Short Autumn, Very Short Spring, Very Long Winter, Very Long Summer. Yes, I meant long* not short, my apologies my brain is scrambled all over the place with a lot of real life drama & stuff so many family getting sick, dying etc.. 😣 I wasn’t wrong though- The answer can (mostly) be solved by messing with world Gen settings, no mods or commands required. Really fun, it took away the ability to fully prepare. The mad dash to stay alive was a blast. Would also love to see some new seasons in the endgame. This idea is so good, i hope there will be a config for this. After seeing this post, I tried playing with the seasons cycling in just 20 days (5 days each season) — It was quite fun, but I felt like I should have increased the boss frequency, as Deerclops didn't show up, nor did Goose. Only Antlion showed up.
