Waywarbler
I am aware it's probably too late for Celestial Scion changes, as we get closer and closer to the September update and probably a new beta before then, but still, it's odd to me how ignorable lunacy is during the absolutely-final-lunar-boss fight. By the time you've reached this fight, you'd have access to the Brightshade helm, which makes gestalts passive to you, nullifying the main downside to enlightenment. Even if you choose to go with Void Cloth armor instead, the only concern with enlightenment is a gestalt MAYBE hitting you and making you groggy, and chances are, you already have mushcakes/cooked moonshrooms to deal with grogginess. So, I've a couple of ideas on how enlightenment could be more of a factor in the fight, one a bit extreme and the other more reasonable. 1. The Celestial Scion charging up the Supernova could make enlightened survivors "moon-blind", forcing them to groggily walk towards the Celestial Scion in a trance, putting them at risk of getting annihilated by the Supernova (or walking into the electrified floor, if the Scion pulls them into it). You could still interact with your hotbar/inventory, allowing you to hurriedly eat sanity-reducing food, break out of the trance, and run/telepoof to cover. (another silly concept edit) Inspired by this old bit of moonstorm concept art from a Rhymes with Play stream 2. The Celestial Scion's slam could target whichever survivor has the highest % of sanity/lunacy. This would give more control over who the slam is aimed at when fighting with multiple people. Perhaps a symbol could appear under the most enlightened survivor to indicate this? 3 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167629-how-the-celestial-scion-could-utilize-enlightenment/ Share on other sites
