Controller not really working on IOS ?

I installed the arcade version of don't starve pocket+. I use a red xbox controller on bluetooth and some of the controls work but most usually go into the inventory screen and bugs it all out if I press the buttons. Even the trigger buttons as well. Is it not supportable to controller now?

Bumping the f*ck outta this because I’m waiting to spend hours playing, but I can’t remap the controls to make them work, or at the very least, making the “A” (Xbox controller) pick up an item. Where it stands, the only input that works is movement and opening the crafting menu, but that means f*ck all when I can’t pick grass.

I have the same problem, but I use a Nintendo controller, I would love to use a controller.
