[Bug Report] Twitch Account Link Date Resets to 1970 – Drops Not Working

I’m experiencing a serious problem with Twitch Drops not working for my Klei account, and I believe I’ve discovered a major bug.

Issue Summary:

• Every time I unlink and re-link my Twitch account on https://accounts.klei.com, it briefly shows the correct date (e.g. “Added on Aug 01, 2025”).

• However, after a short time, the linked date changes to “Added on Jan 01, 1970” (see attached screenshots).

• Despite several attempts at relinking and streaming live, Twitch Drops are never activated for my account.

• I have already contacted Klei support through both email and Discord. The only suggestion I received was to try relinking my account, which I’ve already done multiple times without success.

• This 1970 date appears to be a classic Unix epoch bug, likely indicating a serious problem with the account link database or server.

Why This Is a Major Issue:

• The link date resetting to 1970 strongly suggests the system is not properly recording the Twitch link, which may be why Drops cannot be awarded.

• This could affect other users as well, not just me.

• I have provided clear evidence with screenshots showing both the correct and incorrect dates.

Please escalate this issue to your development team for urgent investigation.
I believe this is a critical bug affecting the integrity of Twitch Drops and account linking.
