Static Restrainer is just a nerf after Scion.

I thought it would be a cool thing, but I realized it's the same old hassle of handing over tools while birds attack you. In the end, it's just a weird nerf (it forces the player to go to the National Fabricator and spend resources they didn't need before).

I mean, rather than a nerf i ill simply say its a chage for the sake of the history, i dont know its something that in the long term feels rather inconsecuential, it barely is an annoyance, and its dirt cheap. Its a great "oh **** for real" moment and i think its super cool how it was introduced. Saying all this as someone who kills 10 ccs at once every 3 in game years

I think the one we make shouldn't need the constant repairs with the tools, just the bird waves - the birds can be traped and used for rot, so we can't loose them after the end game -. Considering were crafting the restrainer only after the scion, it doesn't make sense we still need the tools, it could be called "perfected restrainer" to explain why this one doesn't the the tools, as wagstaff has "perfected" his craft. The birds are just the moon being angry at us, so it's still fun to have to deal with them.

Edit: SPECIALY if we still are gonna need captured static to build the arks, bc even tho things make sense right now lore wise, the gameplay side got a bit more boring and with unnecessary extra steps. Klei can still make these things a lot better
