grem6 Posted July 26, 2025 Share Posted July 26, 2025 Currently, you need to wait 5 days for both rifts to spawn after activating them. This wait feels a bit annoying and unnecessary, essentially making you wait half an hour for the new content to spawn. Seeing how much new content the rifts are getting, I think it would be appropriate to remove this delay and let players get into rift content right away after activating the rift. This change could apply to both, lunar and shadow rift. On the topic of making rift content accessible earlier, perhaps phase 1 of the lunar rift could have more to it? Shadow rift spawns shadelings and ink blights even in it's 1st phase, while lunar rift has nothing in phase 1, pure brilliance in 2 and brightshades in 3. Perhaps 1st phase could also have some brilliance, and the plants that the rift spreads to could get occupied by brightshades instead of uprooted? These brightshades could disappear after the rift closes, to not clutter the world with them. Frequency also changes delays between rifts that come after that, which makes it turn you to max, then get first rift to spawn, then relaunch the world and turn it off, which is mildly annoying imo. Could give an option on rift activation screen for instant activation when giving enlightened shard/dreadstone, so it would be activate now, activate in 5 days or cancel. And yeah, the lack of husks can definitely be felt early after activating the rift, or even later on in multiplayer worlds.
