Innimical Gastalts need to be fixed, there is...there is a lot to say about these things, first to say, conceptually, they are great, lunacy was always easier to manage than sanity by virtue of not been really able to kill you and i like that has changed. Makes stuff like gastalt protection more valuable and something you really need to pay atention to, as well as finally adding a new way of getting brilliance. Now, their implementation, i think some bullet points with problems and fix proposition would be the quickest way to put it:

-They are aoe and target other enemies: Gastalts and shadow creatures dont attack any other thing that isnt the player with counted exceptions, the innimical gastalts just being a mob makes no sense, and its incedibly inconsistent, but the true problem is that they will agro on enemies, usually the sames that the player is fighting, attack it, and because their attack is aoe kill the player. Very simple solution, make them only agro on players and nothing else

-They linger far to long: gastalts automatically vanish the moment you no longer have lunacy, innmical gastalts can linger up to 3 minutes after you take off the crown, this is a big problem because it efectevely means that you are forced to fight these guys whenever you take off the crown, and they take quite the time to kill, this makes the crown an annoying commitment to put on, because you know that you need to be able to keep the crown on at all time, or knowing you will need to spent 5 minutes fighting a mob for minimal reward. Also an easy fix, make the innimcal gastalts depsawn the moment the player has no lunacy.

-They have way to much health: this adds on the previous point as well but also this is more of a coment on the fact that killing this guys its an alternative way of getting brilliance, They teleport, and their animations are pretty long, they take a long time to hit, a long time to teleport, a long time to appear after the teleport, and they appear in big groups if you have the crown on. All of this adds to make fighting them not worth it. The only scenario where killing them can be efficient is if you use the bright shade stuff. But even then, the pure brilliance you get gets almsot cut in halve because you are using a lot more repair kits to sue the staff on them.

Compare it with the bone helmet, in that scenario the enemies have a lot less health, and their apearing and disapearing is almost instant, killing them does not take a lot of time, but you are encouraged to kill them quicly so they dont add up and become unmanageable. All this to say, these gastalts need, first, have the window for damaging them greatly expanded, they should be inmune to dmg less than a second as they teleport, and second have their health reduced.

-Brightshade stuff projectiles bounce on them if they are near by even if you didnt target them: The greates weapon to convo wih the crown becomes unusable because of this mob, i think not much needs to be aded. please make the projectiles dont target these guys unleas we target them specifically.

Finally, i understand the fact that the fully upgraded crown spawns aditional innimical gastalts its a paralel with the bone helmet, allowing us to farm brilliance. But i think this implementation has one big problem, the bone helemt is not a heapiece the player uses daily, its situational, something you only deal with when you ant the reward it allows you to have. The crown is something the player will have on most of the time, and even if it didnt, in any dark enviroments, or during night times, or fighting, the player will have it on. In their current state the use of the crown  for its porpuse crashes with its new use of farming brilliance.

Eventho i think if all the problems with the innimical get adressed the crown could keep both it uses, i wouldnt lie when i say that having a horde of mobs around you all time its extremly annoying, for building, for cooking, for fighting, its an overall worse experience, and i would apreciate if this two functions could be separated. Maybe we could use the celestial jewel in a celestial fissure or a moon dial to create a innimical spawn area where farm brilliance at.

As a final note, the filter, i genuenly cant use the crown for more than 2 minutes until i start getting dizzy, klei please, the art of this game its one of the things i love the most about it, i wanna see the colours, please make the crown have a unique more subtle filter, its genuenly unplayable for more than 5 minutes.
