I'm new to forums in general, i come here seeking assistance
on my modded dedicated server im hosting for some friends i FINNALLY got the thing working but a few days in we noticed a mod was missing (i noticed a character mod was missing at the start but i was too tired to deal with that)
there aren't any server problems being caused as far as i can tell they just... don't load in when i load the world
i even tried loading the 2 problem children on a world, and separately and they still didn't appear
The mods are Heaps of foods and Wieneke The Lemure

assistance would be appreciated if anyone can

Heaps of foods

seems to be bugged in a way that it can't be downloaded on dedicated servers at the moment.

You can try manually placing the mod downloaded by your client in the respective folder on the dedicated server and see if that works.

I couldn't find anything on Wieneke The Lemure in the comments, but I could imagine it suffers from the same issue.

i will see if that works although im not sure WHERE that file would be, because i dont see a mod folder in my dedicated server file anywhere, and i use the "host a world then copy the mod files and steam ID's" i forget what the files are specifically called

Tried a few folders but no dice...

The mod ID you can easily find by either copying the id from the config files in your server (workshop-xxxxxxxxx) or by going in the workshop browser and look in the URL:

in this case the ID would be workshop-2334209327

The files on your client you can find by right click on DST, browse local files. There you'll find a mods directory.

In that directory you'll find all the mods you have installed. You'll just have to find the one with the aformentioned ID.

On your server you can just drop the workshop-2334209327 folder into

DSTServer/mods/

and if configured correctly (still needs to be enabled in the modoverrides.lua to get loaded and to tell the client what to download), it should load the mod from there.

it didnt seem to work this is what my files look like and this is the best place i could find that matched "DSTServer/mods/ does this look like the right folder? its seperate from my dedicated server folder but im not sure if that would effect anything or not, i can also share other information if it helps find a solution image.png.721fcc633152ebad2020bd66286d72ed.png

The mod folder has to have the name "workshop-2334209327" rather than just the number.

so whenever I stick that file into the mods folder and rename it to that it gets deleted for some reason whenever i start the server so thats SOMETHING but i gotta figure out why its getting deleted now

i also have to figure out how to update mods because i cant join my server now because one of the mods updated
