I'm trying to create biodiesel from the emulsifier but I can't get a Bionic Dupe to operate it.  I have 2 Bionics with Mechatronic + Electrical Engineering boosters, but they won't operate the machine.

I have a RESEARCHER dupe with all of the different research boosters, but I have "operating" set to very low priority (as I don't want my researcher running on wheels or trying to run a refinery).

Overall result is that the dupes best suited to OPERATE the emulsifier appear to be forbidden because the operation task is a science task.  BUT, the science-heavy dupe has terrible Machinery stats so I don't want them operating.  So the emulsifier sits there unused because no one who can use it is allowed to, and the one who is allowed to sucks at it?

What am I missing?

I'll Edit to Add --> I have lots of phyto oil coming in by pipe from liquid reservoirs and I have thousands of kg of bleach stone dug up, so it's not an issue with the input materials.

So is it better to add researching priority to my operators... or operating priority to my researcher...

Right now there's a conflict, the task is classified as operating I think, but requires science skill?

Set highest priority for emulsifier so researcher will work on it when possible. Set high priority on research buildings so it will do its work when Emuls isnt available. And only when both done it will go to wheels and other operation things... After all, full researchers quite bad at all other tasks so wheel is optimal idle time for them

Not bionics though.  High science doesn't translate into faster skill development on other abilities, and the conflict here of a science skill being required for an operating task is a bit peculiar.

The EMULSIFIER is a building that requires "Operation", and in order to operate it you need the "Advanced Research" skill or a "Researching Booster".

There are two options:

- Increase the "Operation" priority of the "Research" person and use doors to prevent them from accessing buildings you don't want them to touch (such as the Manual Generator and Oil Refinery).

- Have the "Operation" person learn "Advanced Research" or insert a "Researching Booster".
