I just finished my finals today and i am exhausted so my apologies for more typos than usual.

The respawn of the boss feels a bit ackward, in general the way most of the wagstaff replacements have been implemented feels like so, they are perfectly functional as far as ive seen but the mobs droping the sparks and the static on the moonstorms just being there feels ackward, i hope more animations can be added to sort of justify this events after wagstaff its gone.

But the respawning of warbot feels like the one thing i trully think needs to be given more thought. The machine spawning out of thin air every 20 days not only seems to happen out of nowhere, but i dont understand why this boss needs to have a respawn time.

Because we can only fight this boss each 20 days it seems, if we want to get terramites as fast as posible we are forced to farm and fight the thing every 20 days, this wouldn´t be so bad if the terramites were permanent but because we also need to do the boss again to repair them this effectevly menas we have a set amount of uses for terramites between the spam of 20 days.

It really makes the use of the little things not that worth it in long term because for great batches of tree farming you will need to acumulate 5 bosses worth of reapirs, so you will have to actively farm and fight a boss furing 100 days time before you could do said big tree farming. and it still wouldnt be as good as winona or maxwell.

Rather than a timer, i think this boss could work similar to cc, make the WARBOT structure be craftabale at the work bench in the arena after the first time is beaten, and we can craft it whenever we want to fight it as many times as we want.

Personally i think there should be a repair method outside farming the boss because again 6 repair kits per boss feel a bit to little for how much work you have to put on the fight, Warbis repair kits could be a good alternative, for what is worth you could make it restore just 50% of the durability so scrap farming was a bit more impactfull late game.

I hope i could expalin well enough my concerns with the cost of terramites and the boss having a respawn timer.

Thanks klei for the amazing work you ve been doing, i am static(joke intended) to see all the reamining features of the update and hopefully reclaimable flying bots.

I agree with you about how this boss should respawn. I don’t understand the decision to add another item to repair Wagstaff’s mechanisms, the one from the Scrap Wearpig was fine. Alternatively, considering how it looks in the animation, after killing the boss, this new trader in the buffalo disguise should be able to sell the repair kits

Are you getting it mixed up with moongleams zapping the terramites? Because I know they patched that.

If not, then they should just make gestalts recharge terramites anyways. They're created with and powered by gestalts, It's too fitting. You should be able to use phasmo-encapsulators on them.
