Slightquills
I feel like this suggestion hinges on High Pressure tech becoming a part of the game, because putting CO2 into a supercritical state involves VERY high pressures along with not so insignificant temperatures. Several technology demonstrations on youtube cover not only the process, but discuss these miniature demonstration sites, and how efficient the technology is. I feel this is necessarily going to lead to discussions about how accurate we want the game to simulate how heat and pressure affects the state of matter. Still I thought it was an interesting idea that could translate to an interesting in game tech. PowerPowerPower
Issue is the game already has liquid CO2 instead of it transitioning directly to solid, even though most other elements behave based on their properties at room temperature. It’s long been a weird pet peeve of mine Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/166078-supercritical-co2-generators/#findComment-1819273 Share on other sites
Slightquills
It may just not be possible with the current build, but it's worth a thought. Would definitely add a complex dimension to programming for each element to have an array of physical states depending on the combination of temperature AND pressure.
