MacOS and xbox wireless controller compatibility

hello! i was wondering, would it be possible to add compatibility with mac and a controller to the game? i play w my fellow medical school friends as a form of relaxing but weve all got macs.. weve tried keybinding and it sort of worked but i couldnt access my inventory which is kind of important.. is there some way we could fix it?:)
