Why can't I get the latest update from gog

We  paid for the genuine don't starve on gog,but we didn't get reasonable treatment as users on steam or other plateforms.I think at least we should have the rights to get the latest update just like users on other plateforms

unfortunately this is why i moved from gog ds to steam ds several years ago. i was not happy that the gog version is incomplete

There passed over year since Klei released a important HotFix, 20231026 version - but on Steam only!
Here on GOG is still a outdated version 20230427, that does have a some serious bugs(especially in SW, mainly in a volcano)!
Writing to Klei's support, posting on this forum and even write PW to developer have a no effect.
This is really regretable and pititable.

Someone of you would tell me to buy DS on Steam etc. But I'm will don't - I'm would be stupid, if I did it!.
First, I'm not tolerate a any DRM, second - I think that Klei really don't deserve for it!
Really, let's respect ourselves! 
And yet, I have to say this - Klei so sux! 😕

Pay Klei for DS ? I think she deserves it. I think she would have deserved more money for DS if she had added new content (even if it had been transferring content from DST). 
Waiting for all the content of A New Reign in DS in the form of DLS.
Literally almost all of its content is perfect for DS.

No. I purchased DS:Alone on GOG already. I'm not going to buy it again on Steam, only because Klei treat GOG customers(so and me too) like second class citizens or even worse.

Moreover, some time ago I'd writed PW to main developer, but he don't respond anything, and I'd noticed that he's seen this message.
This properly reflect, what Klei does think about GOG customers whose did pay them too.

What about that DS is great, since it's buggy and Klei released fixes for Steam only?

I'm don't change my opinion about Klei, unless they update DS:Alone on GOG ASAP, and public apologies them. I'm sure that other GOG users think same.

I'm don't understand what big deal problem is update some game's hotfix on GOG? Somehow many other developers/publishers of bigger games don't have any problems with keep them up to date on GOG and release DLC too.

Klei does not want to waste even a second on DS, because they consider working on it not profitable.
The developer of Mega Update for DS was paid only for Steam development in honor of the decade. There was talk about other consoles.
But in 2 years, an experienced developer is not something that will transfer updates to another platform, but could transfer an entire update branch like A New Reign lolAlthough I don't know why Klei can't transfer the update to GoG. This is strange...

Although GOG still doesn't have DST.

20231026 is just a HotFix, but very important. I still don't get, why Klei don't want update this on GOG, since a big 20230427 update they did. What harm does it do them? If they update DS now, there will be OK even for very long time - or forever, if Klei will never developer DS anymore.
They should treat fair ALL customers, not just of Steam.

 

Ok, I don't care about DS:T or ONI anymore, just want to DS:Alone up-to-date on GOG. That all!
