What if Wilson the Ancient King? (Crazy theory and fun story)

I've been thinking a lot about the story itself. Klei you have created a crazy world and surely the story itself is crazy full of time travel and mystery.  And now you've found someone within the community who isn't afraid to say what they think and share their crazy ideas about the story. I have a lot of theories and ideas. Now I've brought one of my theories to the forum. Which brings you to a funny little story. (English is not my native language. I apologize for any grammatical errors.However, I hope it will be understandable.)

What if, Wilson the Ancient King ?

I first thought about it because of the eyes. Cyclum looks like Wilson used to look.

If this is true, it would make sense why Wilson is valuable.

What if Maxwell kidnapped people because the shadows were looking for Wilson? - Wilson was the last person to be kidnapped in 1921, but he was the only one who made it to the throne room.

What if Wilson really loves science bacause he's been doing it in his previous life?

The ancient king helped his people with his knowledge and magic. Became a strong technologically advanced species in the caves. 

and now...

Wilson helps survivors with his knowledge and inventions. Helping Yourself and Others. Btw: And yes, a very cuious person and heart is in the right place. Eg: He wanted to rescue the nightmare werepig, because he felt sorry for him. What if time repeats itself?

What does Wilson say about you?

Yeah. He is a genius and not the "camp boss" just the Modern Major- General. 

He invented that....

-search the moon piece -) The moon island

-rescue the nightmare Werepig 

-discovering the cave system

-exploring the Ancient Civilization (Here I think of the stone tablets most and the iridescent gem.)

Almost all his ideas unleashed chaos in the constant.

What do the objects of ancient civilization say?

Working again....- The end of the sentence strongly suggests that in the past this tool worked very well. It would be good, if it working again. But the character himself doesn't really know why he's saying that.

Strongest urge - This sentence basically tells you how the machine itself works. Do you have a strong urge to use the machine because he has used it a lot in the past? And then that feeling just stayed in your subconscious?

This is a very good way to show how confused Wilson is. Very happy at the beginning of the sentence. -Finally, we have the knowledge to build this structure.- But then be follows a phrase that somehow makes me very, very familiar. Why would he be familiar with a ancient old machine? Did you put that together before?

At first glance there is nothing special about it. Everyone is fooling with him. But the garden hat was originally invented by Wilson. Then, if Wilson invented this device, why is it possible to create one at the ruins? (I know from a game point of view it's just an unnecessary update. But if you look at the story itself, you can back up something very important.)

This is only possible if Wilson was the ancient king. Who will re-invent this device in the future. 

...and wendy was the only character who noticed the weirdness. "this is similar" Of course it's similar, because Wilson made this device in the past and in the future.

 

Why is this phrase important? In the top picture the king has several hands drawn. If you take off that extra hand, he posture will change. Someone who doesn’t really know what to say for the future.

"Winona always struck me as someone with a vision for the future." Wilson does not say that he has good ideas about the future, but that Winona looks at him as if he sees the future. Which, according to my vision, means Wilson can't see the future, so he doesn't know what's going to happen. All he knows is that he wants to go home, and he needs a portal to get home.His inventions make life easier for everyone, discover the constant, while satisfying your own curiosity. 

What about Charlie and Metheus?

When first meet charlie and wilson. When Wilson is brutally tortured she"ll be very pleased. If all this is true, then she might be smiling so hard to get revenge. Because of the past. Because she recognized Wilson and knew that he was actually the ancient king.

And in the last Halloween video, they showed how much Charlie didn't like Wilson.

What about Wilson's beard?

It's a little interesting. How natural he can grow? The magnificident Beard. Okay, this is a normal human things, but he use with meat effigy. Meat effigy is a magic item. Why is magic things? The wood and meat not have magic, just a beard. He beard has magical powers. If it is true that he is the ancient king. Reincarnated in another world. Then it is logical to have a shadow power or a property that comes from the constant. What if he is a Human-shadow creature? But just have magic shadow power?

If you lose yur mind, the rabbits will turn black. They can give you beard hair like Wilson. Wilson has a beard as big full as a rabbit man's. If he didn't have the power of the shadow, would him hair be blond?

I think this is really fun - some of this is defo a language thing though, some of the examples you've used would be used that way to a native speaker without it necessarily linking to tasks being completed in the past. 

Wilsons song is from a very old comedic opera called The Pirates of Penzance, it's also something children used to randomly learn in the US at school, so i'd imagine it may be similar in canada where the dev team is from? It's fun to sing and it's a bit of flavour for Wilson and his scientific knowledge!

 I'm Hungarian, so I've never been confronted with this "The pirates of Penzance". I looked at things a little differently. But I've already noticed that the creators make a lot of references to their own nationality and even hide things in the descriptions of clothes. Thank you for expanding my knowledge.
