My freind can't redeem my extra copy of DST, how can i help him?

And i can't seem to get it back to check smth to fix it, is there anyway to help me freind from that? (btw the usa not being included here is pure bs >:( ) This is what he sent btw:

since it can't be redeemed unless you are from the listed countries, is he from the listed countries?

if yes, ask him to click view in store and add to my library to see if he has it

so i'm guessing you're from one of the listed countries, and gifted it to your friend in the US (presumably)

if that's the case, then yeah he can't redeem it. if you want the DST copy back, it will have to be after March 21 (i think)

This is also true for trying to gift people games on Xbox live, I have two friends who live in the UK that I tried to gift copies of DST to, it turns out that the codes are only valid in the USA & in order for them to get the game, they had to buy it themselves.

Xbox doesn’t even give a warning message about crap like this so, I had been buying people games for years and never knew they couldn’t actually use them.

Certain countries have trade agreements with each other so if youre buying something in one country, and can't give it to someone in another, that could be why.
