Wortox ice and fire skills for skilltree

Recommended Posts

I dont know if this is true but i guess klaus is the father of wortox so he could use some ice and fire skills that klaus used

there could be some ice soul and fire soul in the skilltree where he gets to use them for different things

i like the scales skilltree design but they can be changed/combined to ice and fire themes

you can throw fire souls like a fire bomb to burn the floor and restore sanity for willow(combo)

you can throw ice soul bomb in the floor to do the same but with ice

they can be used for more thing such as soul equipment(ice soul sword slows the target, fire soul sword burns the target and some armors etc.)

I could be misinterpreting things from the lore, but if we imagine a point graph comparing magic/science and monster/human I think we can glean some relevant data.

I would say that Wortox is in a unique position. Wormwood is the wildcard. You could argue that he's a magical beast, but I would actually put him right in the middle. Not human or monster, with a sort of synchronization between magic and science.

Wortox leans all in on monster/magic. I think the skill tree does okay with blending these with his offensive skills and neutral branch. I just wish it went a little heavier on it. A little more diversity to expand on what he can do outside of damage, teleports, and heals.

I also want to get ahead of the comments expressing that Wortox is too strong. I can't speak for anyone else, but I'm not advocating for direct buffs. I'm hoping for his tree to expand upon his character identity in a way that is unique to him. It doesn't have to be overpowered if it's cool or fun.

I strongly reject that Wortox is too strong.

he has POTENTIAL to be too strong but rn he is very weak compared to other characters such as willow and wendy

he needs a reliable way of dealing damage and needs some flavor which is funny because he has the most potential to be flavorful imo
