Alternative idea - The weapon now has 4 storage slots and can be repaired with souls or silk. A soul jar can be placed in this storage slot. Its damage increases for each full soul jar placed. We can save space in the inventory by placing soul jars on the weapon.

Pan flute is called like that because is from Pan which is a satyr. It wouldn't make sense for wortox to have another instrument, he has pan flute perks for a reason

The way I see it, the more combat options we have, the better. I would like to see more enemy diversity in the game, I think that opening up more mid to long range options will make it a little easier to add that in.

I'm not gonna lie, as someone who has played a lot of Wanda, whip range is really overpowered. You become immune to shadow creatures (just hold F), you can kite everything 50x easier, even Klaus (he doesn't even cast spells), and a whole mountain of cheese opens up by hitting things over walls/statues.

I'm not one to gatekeep mechanics, but I honestly think whip range should've been kept to the Cat o' Three Tails and Bull Kelp Stalks.

What?

If everyone commonly had a longer range melee weapon, they'd have to redesign shadow creatures, fix cheese for a ton of bosses, and generally rebalance the whole game. That's it, that's all I'm saying.

Walter is already stressing the boundaries of the limits of the design of current enemies.

I think he's just saying range makes a lot of the combat unfun because of how safe it is. The kelp and tails make up for it a bit by giving enemies a chance to catch up to you.

No no they have a point, it trivializes things so much it makes them boring. And even in public servers I had bosses devolve to "let wanda do wanda things" e.g. she can *still* cheese klaus if no one else attacks him.
