I tested the skill “Woby Here, Woby There.”

Recommended Posts

To be honest, it’s perfect. I can’t think of any reason not to use it. Just because of this one skill, I feel extremely motivated to play this character.

Especially the combination of fixed-point marking and whistle recall—I no longer need to go home to store my loot. I don’t have to worry about “my pockets are full” anymore. I can explore until I’m tired of it. I can even pass Chester’s eyebone to my teammate, and then Chester can connect to Maxwell’s Shadow Box.

Whatever I need, my teammates can put those items in Woby for me anytime, anywhere, and then I can continue my adventure. The same goes the other way around. I can’t describe how joyful this is. There’s no reason to refuse this skill.

Frankly, if Abigail had such a powerful skill, even if it required ten prerequisite skill points, I would click it without hesitation. I really wish she had at least one skill like this. And now, I only need three strong prerequisites to use it.

I sincerely thank you, V2C. You’ve given me a huge boost in motivation to play the game.

In fact, the Butterfly Ointment, Rope-Making, and Campfire each have their own unique advantages, but I really wanted to showcase Walter's charm in telling stories, so I ultimately chose the Campfire. It was really tough to pick just three out of these six powerful skill points.

A small addition: Woby running away is just an animation effect. In reality, within less than 10 seconds, she will teleport to her teammate's side and deliver the items to them. This action can not only cross oceans but can even deliver items directly to a boat. However, it seems that returning requires getting out of the loading range, but going into the caves might solve this issue.

You can transport items like the Cattleman Bell or Sandstone to your teammates using Woby, which essentially provides the whole team with a means of teleportation.

Can you use this as a way to grief? I'm imagining sending a beefalo bell that's linked with a beefalo in heat to another player. So, the beefalo follows Woby, and attacks the recipient because it's in heat.

From various perspectives, I feel that you've taken the playability of this skill to a whole new level. For example, you can remotely send a tied-up bundle to your teammate, containing items like moles, gunpowder, and traps.;)

you guys are quite evil I have to say, I mean... I like it wwww

and no joking here - Yes the 0 cost deliver ability is quite overpower now. I personally think it do need an impactful hunger cost (20 for per deliver and at least 15 for active once deliver) with 0.75 day cooldown for preventing potential deliver abusing.

I actually don't have many complaints, because there are two similar designs in the skill tree of the neighboring character. Although those two designs are widely criticized outside the forums, some people on the forums seem to like them. So, I don't think there's much reason to reject them.

I just dislike the broken immersion from the 0 cost of deliver ability. It's unreasonable the long-distance deliver would cause no tired / hunger cost for a living creature...
