His skill tree came along and fixed almost every issue with him. Wendy is a popular character who has always been good without a skill tree, adding one to her won't even come close to making her a forgotten character. I assume you're talking about pre-skill tree Woodie, and not pre-refresh Woodie. If you are, what on earth are you even talking about? Pre-refresh Woodie was such an awful character, and you seriously think Wendy even has a slight chance of becoming anywhere near his level of popularity?
