Civecilim Posted February 13, 2025 Share Posted February 13, 2025 Does anybody know the calculations behind how quickly your fully tamed beefalo 'forgets about you' whenever you don't ride it for a very long time? What is the ride time penalty? I tried referenced the wiki but it was unclear to me. This seems like a particularly relevant thing to now know if you play Walter and alternate between riding Woby and a beefalo. Yifei_ Posted February 13, 2025 Share Posted February 13, 2025 Every 10 seconds, if a Beefalo is being ridden or its hunger value is greater than 0, it will gain 0.1% (1/960) domestication. Otherwise, it will lose domestication. The rate of domestication loss gradually increases, reaching a maximum after ten consecutive days, at 0.052% (1/1920) every 10 seconds. If no domestication is gained for 45 consecutive days, the Beefalo will lose 100% domestication and revert to a wild state.
