Immature ideas about Wraith's Wreath

#Wraith's Wreath

Players can directly consume elixirs (via Alt + Right Click for Wendy, or Right Click for others). After consumption, a timer begins. While wearing the Wraith's Wreath, the elixir's buff remains active.  

If the player removes the Wreath, the buff is paused (not canceled), it becomes inactive. The player will suffer a sanity penalty (-40/min) until the Wreath is re-equipped.  

The Wreath's spoilage rate is no longer affected by time or temperature. Instead: Spoilage slows when the wearer's sanity is high and accelerates when sanity is low. Spoilage stops entirely if unequipped or worn by non-sanity entities (e.g. pigman

 

#Revised Elixir Effects

Ghastly Experience (Player Version)

No longer has its original effect. Now only cancels the previous elixir's buff.  

 

Unyielding Draught (Player Version)

No longer has its original effect. Now significantly reduces mob aggro (if multiple targets are present, mobs are unlikely to prioritize you).  

 

Distilled Vengeance (Player Version)

No longer has its original effect. Now significantly increases mob aggro (if multiple targets are present, mobs will focus on you aggressively).  

This is a great and interesting idea. It's better than the current version and has a similar level of power. It also addresses the inconvenient and uninteresting pain point of the effect disappearing when removed, and adds several interesting new mechanisms.

Elixirs are potions that work on ghosts. Wearing the hat made of ghost flowers makes you a tiny bit ghostly, just enough such that you can benefit from having a ghost potion, but not as much as an actual ghost.

As the developers mentioned, this elixir's essence resonates with spirits. When living beings drink it, their sanity becomes dangerously attuned. The wreath acts as a spiritual conduit - its empowering connection only manifests while worn. Removing it severs this bond, triggering a destabilizing backlash that persists until either the elixir's essence fades or the conduit is reestablished through the wreath.
