If the jump is more than 1 soul's worth then just make it cost 2 souls to jump the max distance while wearing the head piece, not even a buff this would be just a qol change honestly. Spoiler While we're at it, add back the 20hp Naughty Self-Heal and decrease team healing for Naughty inclination. (Thematically makes sense and having less self heal while being more "greedy" inclination-wise doesn't make sense.) It's a bit of a nerf for a very potent tank that's totally optional to opt into. It might not make the most sense thematically but it's good for gameplay imo. If we're comparing Inclination downsides then Nice has almost 0 downside. Yeah you lose sanity eating souls but you also gain sanity from dropping them. This effectively gives you either infinite sanity or infinite insanity depending on what you want. On top of that you get to recruit mobs, and neutral mobs aren't hostile. Meanwhile Naughty is just a straight -5 hp per soul and the inability to gain sanity back per soul and overload protection which if you played Wortox at all before this Beta you'd know how to drop souls before you overload anyway or literally throw them in a jar before it happens. It may seem small but after months in the Beta, Naughty inclination Wortox having less self healing is honestly just annoying more than a downside. Team healing in a multiplayer game being decreased when you're "The Healer" character seems way more impactful while being less annoying solo wise. Even if this change comes with more creatures being hostile I'm all for it. It's actually still really handy, it decreased my overload frequency from "occasionally" to "never". That's kind of my point with the overload thing, it barely happened (may need a poll for that) but any Wortox player I've ever come into contact with rarely ever had an issue with this. Given with how filler heavy his Skilltree already is, overload protection seems like a fix to something that was barely an issue to begin with. The inconvenience to the Nerf to self heal shouldn't be gauged with how easy it is to obtain a soul but how many more you have to use to heal yourself vs it healing others the same. If I'm in the middle of Nightmare Werepig fight and I'm dropping souls to heal myself, the souls being easy to obtain doesn't help me at all. Overload protection is NOT filler, it is really nice watching hundreds of souls flow freely into my inventory due to a soul pierce cascade. I've posted a video of that earlier. That is on top of getting to be careless with it and getting away with it. I am also not always paying perfect attention and an extra soul might slip through if I miscount on any occasion, and it has already prevented many loathsome overloads for me, and I am NOT a Wortox newbie. I'm just tired all the time. When I was referring to filler it was the many skills in his Skilltree not that Inclination buff. The overload thing just seemed like a fix to an issue that didn't seem like much of an widespread issue. They could've gave the player an option to just hold open a soul jar so that souls can just fill them up instead of the overload protection. The self healing nerf bothers me half because it having an irritating feel in mid game. The other half is thematically it doesn't make sense that the greedy, naughty imp somehow heals less personally and perfectly when it comes to others.
