A Request for Things Going Forward

 Hello there! I just wanted to start off by saying I absolutely love the new skill trees. The Walter update especially has been absolutely amazing, and I greatly appreciate the time and effort that is being put into making sure each of these characters get the love that deserve. It seems that the lesson has been learned from the likes of Winona and Wigfrid, who were not quite as stellar all around.

 

I wanted to make this post with a simple suggestion/request for future skill trees, specifically for Webber. Recently, some additional commands have been added to Abigail via her skill tree, such as fighting/moving to a certain location or retreating. Webber tends to create armies of his spiders. These end up being quite difficult to manage in more ways than one. What I would love to see is the ability to select specific groups of spiders and issue specific commands to them using a radial menu like Abigail. 

 

Just in general, for skill tree updates, I would love to see more instances of characters having their general or typical gameplay improved in terms of flow. Things like being able to command Abigail, see Woby's hunger, having containers for character specific items (spider container for Webber?), being able to feed mounts while mounted, etc.

 

It would also be quite nice to see spiders in general get some love. Pretty much all of them with the exception of Sea Striders are simply different builds of the regular spider animations. They are no different in size or shape, and rarely in behaviors. It makes them feel much less interesting to interact with, friend or foe. I understand that it's a bit more of an undertaking compared to everything else I've spoken of, but it would be wonderful to see.

 

And lastly, I would love to see some care given to previous alignment skills, namely Wigfrid, to make sure they are more fitting, powerful, and unique. Alignment skills should not be a copy pasted item that works for shadow instead of lunar or vice versa. That's no fun!
