Hello everyone, long time no see. Originally, I wanted to wait until all the skill trees got finished and released before making this post. However, seeing as it'll still be a while till then, I decided to make my new skill tree now based on the limited info I read on it. Now, obviously, I'm not gonna yap on the entire skill tree again. I'm just gonna yap on the things that influenced me to changed the skill tree up a bit. At the top of the screen, I have 3 builds that may serve as my final skill trees when the update releases, as I doubt they'll change anymore of it. Nevertheless, let's begin with the skills.

I don't need to say anything else about this line. Honestly, I wish they would make some of the skills base kit and then just rework this to make Pipspooks more enjoyable. I think the majority of the community can agree that doing the Pipspook quests are not fun and gathering Mourning Glory without this is also not fun. Other than that, not much else to say.

Not much else to say on these as well. I think these skills are a must have for Wendy players. They enhance Wendy's combat skill and, when used well, allow Abigail to survive a lot of fights. There are some fights that these commands won't be as effective against, but usually you can get by just fine if you spam Cure Alls.

I'm glad they took what I said and made the second skill for Graves worth it. I also do like the craft they made for moving graves. I figured this was how they'd change it, as they literally said in another log that digging graves up was out of character. With that said, I have one little nitpick with this skill:

Why does this skill not require Mourning Glory to craft it? I feel like this craft makes a lot of sense to require Mourning Glory to craft and would be a good trade off for crafting. At the cost of Mourning Glory you obtain from Pipspooks, you can relocate these graves to wherever you want, allowing you to collect more with more convenience. Even if you wanted to make this recipe hard to craft, you could've replaced the Ash with Mourning Glory and it would've worked. Like I said, it's a nitpick, but it's been on my mind. That being said, I love the Bigspooks themselves, so I might still run these skills for them.

Klei has finally given Wendy the ability to swap between Abby forms via the waxing and waning moon. This makes swapping between the two forms still tedious, but much better than before. Because of that, I honestly would swap these skills around just from that change. They also made a few changes to Abby's shadow form. I'm not very knowledgeable to make a conclusion on it, so I won't. What I do know is that the Planar changes are amazing since they finally bring foot Wendy more in line or better than Beefalo Wendy, which is amazing. I'm still gonna be a Beefalo rider since I love Beefalo, but I'm happy they made it so non Beefalo riders aren't punished anymore for not using them with the skill tree. Overall I'm very happy with these changes and am happy now that these two skills are finally able to stand with one another, rather than one clearly being superior.

These skills are still really goated and, if you are fine with ditching Graves and the Alter, you can choose these instead. I loved using these skills during my AG and Daywalker run. However, I think I prefer the other skills more. At the end of the day, these skill trees are meant to customize based off the players enjoyment and I just enjoy the other skills more than the Elixir branch. With the changes to the Picnic Casket allowing you to hold Mourning Glory, I think this is well worth bringing for it alone. However, I'm probably gonna skip out on this tree unless there are other Wendys who I can trust with graves in multiplayer worlds.

Honestly, I think the new idle animation tied to Sisturn 3 makes it worth running in itself. Other than that, I just don't think I'm interested in this skill anymore. Not really because of the elixir nerf, but more so because I just don't find this skill interesting. The nerf definitely hurts and was warranted, but I feel this skill just isn't interesting enough for me to want to bring it. I wish they would just revert it back to the old Sisturn where Abigail can overheal. It was a unique way of buffing Abigail's survivability while not taking away her weaknesses. Not much else to say.

The best skill in the game.

Finally, I'm gonna bring this line because of how fun it is. The Wreath is really fun to use, whether it be for night vision or to help convert health to cure alls. The changes to the shield potions are also pretty nice, giving Wendy a lot more options for combat instead of making it worthless. It also incentivizes using body armor instead of head armor, which can allow for some decent combinations, such as the thorn potion with Bramble Husk. The ability to craft Lune moths is huge, allowing you to revive them in the case Abigail accidentally murder some. I mainly brought the Alter skill for filler, but you can easily replace it with Ghastly Experience.

That's really all I have to say based off the changes. A shorter post than my normal ones, I just don't have much else to say. Let me know your opinion on the changes and give me your opinions on the skill tree. With that said, have a nice day.

wreath is amazing and gives her a lot of interesting utility.

I think the sisturn nerf was a tad overkill, but I assume the reception is mostly ok because it isn't being talked about as much anymore.

The planar changes go a little crazy right now from my understanding with: weather pain, brightshade staff, enlightenment crown, and thulecite club due to the multihits and how often it can proc the 10. idk if it is going to stick around, but it is really interesting. someone did a mockup that demonstrates how it does less vs normal mobs than before the patch, but a bit more vs planar after the patch

I think the best way to go about it is either that or by just limiting what will get the buff and what doesn't.

Yeah, the Sisturn nerf was a bit much, mainly because it sorta defeats the purpose of making Abigail more survivable, thus making her need less elixirs. That's probably why I want the overheal mechanic to return. I understand why, since you could just make Abby immortal without the nerf, but I feel they should've reverted if it wasn't working. I do like the Wreath a lot and I think the new shield changes will make me use it a lot more, especially paired with a Woodie or Wormwood.

the thing is she was not immortal. in none of the videos posted could she solo a boss. I thin at most against armored bearger it did like a quarter of its hp before she died. What the thing that really makes her immortal is that potion that lets you let her die, then use a potion to bring her to 100 hp shortly then another to bring her to full hp effectively making the healing potion way more effective and you can still do this, but it is what it is.

while i do agree making it target more things so beefalo don't pull so far ahead would be better, it is probably more complex to implement than an encompassing solution

I say immortal very loosely because, yeah, she can die very easily. However, you could just spam cure alls and Ghastly Experiences whenever Abby dies to effectively make Abby immortal. People just didn't like the fact that Abigail can solo bosses, which is fair, but they could've done it better.

fair and you still can since cure all still heals full value when she isn't summoned from my understanding. i hope they peel it back a tad with tweaks on the way out, but we shall see
