How can I get some help?

  I have been playing Don’t Starve for 11 to 12 years. I’m not tech savvy but I truly love this game and have enjoyed all of the DLCs that have come along the way. 
 

  To my misfortune I can’t play my favorite version (Shipwrecked) because of a warning that stops my game and looses any progress I’ve made in the last 5 minutes. I know this because my o my option is to close the game from my PS4 main screen and enter the game again.

 

  I’ve done this multiple times and have also restarted my console. The issue persists with some codes displayed that I will never be able to interpret. I do however see

scripts/stategraphs/SGBeefalo.lua:581: attempt to call method 'Apply BuildOverrides’ (a nil value) 

Which to me means almost nothing, that is until I notice the baby beefalo in my game go invisible then turn into a shadow and reappear again just to have this disappearing act happen again. It isn’t long before the big WARNING screen pops up and my game ends without saving. 
 

  I’m just at my end here because I have no idea where to get some help with this. I created an account here in hopes that somebody might see this and could possibly resolve this issue so that I may return to my game. 
 

  I would like to note that I’ve played DST for within the last 24 hours with zero issues at all.
