Ricochet Rounds for Walter

Perhaps rework one of the multiple AoE rounds Walter has into an ammo that bounces between enemies 2-3 times. Perhaps even add that, fittingly, to the brightshade or pure brilliance ammo, making them similar in theme to the brightshade staff. The Lunar affinity already seems quite weak compared to the Shadow affinity, so it could probably use it. This effect also would synergize well with charged shots, allowing doubling the damage of the first hit to greatly improve the subsequent bounces, and in many cases is far more practical at hitting multiple enemies than a small AoE effect. Some practical examples:

  • Moonglass Rounds - Deals 51 damage and ricochets to a nearby target twice, dealing half the damage of the initial hit. (102 damage to main target, 51 to two bounces on charged shot)
  • Dreadstone Rounds - Deal 68 damage and ricochet to a nearby target thrice, dealing half the damage of the initial hit. Chance to preserve the pellet. (136 damage to main target, 68 to three bounces on charged shot)
  • Brightshade Rounds - Deal 68 damage and ricochet to a nearby target twice, halving the damage with each bounce. Hits have a chance to summon a vine on hit to swipe at nearby enemies. (136 damage to main target, 68, 34, to two bounces on charged shot)

Another idea is to add a chance to ricochet on hit as an insight node, or to a slingshot upgrade, but I think the concept makes more sense (realism and balance wise) for hard ammos that would already likely ricochet over say a pellet of poop or honey.
