Cassielu Posted January 31, 2025 Share Posted January 31, 2025 I honestly think Vex is the most genius creation in Wendy's Rework, and it encourages Wendy and Abigail to join the fight together to get practical benefits, not just to keep her alive to avoid punishment. Unfortunately, in the Post Rift game, planar damage and planar entities make it no longer effective, and players lack an incentive to fight together, which is especially evident in the case of old Gestalt Abigail - once Abigail's survivability has been strengthened a little, people will try to get her to fight alone. Therefore, I hope she gets some form of planar damage Vex that can work in a similar way to Walter's Pure Brilliance Rounds. Make Mob to take an additional +5 planar damage each time it takes planar damage. Edit: This is also more in line with the logic of the skilltree giving planar damage to characters, with each character get planar damage on their own unique way of fighting to encourage them to "be themselves". (Wolfgang - strong form, Woodie - weremoose, Winona - catapult, Wurt- merm follower.) It would make sense that Vex, one of Wendy's signature attack, get some planar damage as the other characters. It is currently way too strong pre rift and weak post rift, which is the opposite of what the design should be. But I think beyond simply balancing something, it also serves an important function of "encouraging the player to do something." This was something that both lunar and shadow side needed, especially Gestalt Abigail, it seem didn't appropriate to only give to shadow side. It would be nice to give this function to both Lunar/Shadow Sisterhood I. (Of course cursed vexation still to be nerf to exchange for planar damage if it happened in this case.)
