Forgive me if im missing something, but hasn’t klei already said on multiple occasions in the forums that English is the recommended language since using other languages can result in off topic discussions and overall can be disruptive? Exactly what is happening here.

i feel like they’re being selectively ignored by a number of you and I don’t understand why, they never said that you can’t speak Chinese at all only that posting it with a translated version is advisable.

at this point it doesn’t really matter what they said on Billibilli because they’ve told us multiple times here how it is.

can we get back to skill trees already?

Let's be clear, the “language issue” is that Klei has stated to Chinese players on Bilibili that it “supports posting in Chinese on the forum”, but players on the forum, such as you guys, don't understand Chinese,so when Chinese players post in Chinese on the forums, some of you think “I don't understand Chinese, it's not polite to post Chinese to me” and ask Chinese players to post in English. I must point out that the way and words some people ask others to post in English is very rude and impolite, when Chinese players read these comments, they are confused and even irritated, “Klei clearly told us that we can use Chinese, why are some people still compeling us to use English?”, this is where the conflicts arise. Our plea is to solve this problem, the method is actually very simple, if Klei allows the use of Chinese on the forum , then please ask the admins to regulate those who yell “you must post in English, otherwise it is impolite" at others; if Klei does not , whether due to the efficiency of communication or other reasons, then please ask Klei to mend its previous statement on Bilibili to “please use English on the forum” to Chinese players. Just apologizing won't solve anything, what we need is a solution.

completely ignoring it yet again. Again, Klei said that English was preferred for the forums, and that if you did post Chinese just to be sure to also include the translation in English so that Klei themselves as well as other individuals on the forum can understand. I agree with you on the matter of the rudeness from individuals who act on prejudice, but at the same time both Klei themselves and a majority of the forum speak English, and they made it clear that the easiest way to convey your feelings on the forums is to include both.

They gave their answer and cleared the confusion on this very topic, yet people are still arguing about it. Rude individuals on the forum (both Chinese and English speaking users) are at the fault of a lack of moderation rather than just a language barrier issue, which I think needs to be addressed as soon as possible, but if that's the core focus of this entire drama then it seems like the focus is on the wrong thing entirely, but even if that isn't the case then has there not already been an answer to this a while ago?

I've never ignored that, that's why I use English, you're the one who's been ignoring my words, Klei's statement on Bilibili didn't say anything about “Chinese posts must be accompanied by an English translation”, it just simply told us it “supports Chinese”. Look at the picture that Bamboo posted earlier.

Personally, I  certainly know to use English on the forum, but the Chinese players on Bilibili don't know that, if Klei can't solve this problem in time, the conflicts will become more and more and the situation will become worse and worse, do I make myself clear ?

While I recommend the steps written in that post in order to help communication and keep the forum tidy, my post also specifically says it is not enforced as a requirement for posting.

In that post I also recommended posting in English first with the original language as well, because it allows the reader to use different translation software if there is difficulty understanding the original translation.

It was written that players in China can come to the Klei Forums for support, because it's the best way to make sure that the most people on the team see it. We have always recommended that all players come to these forums rather than the myriad of other platforms available so we can gather as much feedback in a single place as possible.

I'd rather not argue with you. What Klei said on Bilibili is that Chinese is supported on the forum for feedback, which clarifies what Bilibili had stated. Even if Bilibili doesn't say that an English translation is required (which it isn't, as shown in the quote, only recommended since Klei is English), it's said here, so what is the confusion now?

I'm not really sure how just two words resulted in all of this, the picture posted by Bamboo was vague and should not realistically have led to all of this, especially now that the Bilibili message was clarified, yet you're only paying attention to what was said on Bilibili?

This is what they said, that statement doesn't include anything about feedback

Please listen. They clarified the feedback here, not on Bilibili, I never argued against that fact. But now that it is posted here, there is no reason for further discussion.

My intention is not arguing with you either, and this is nothing personal, I completely understand that we need to use English here,But players on Bilibili don't,the clearification should be posted on Bilibili, not here.

I don't disagree at all, a lot of confusion has been brewing as a result of recent silence and a lack of moderation. I do think they should clarify it on Bilibili, and I do think they should make a new statement on enforcing the forums, but I think Klei's statement on this topic should have formally ended this discussion on the forums.

I do not intend any hostility either, I love the community but I am tired of the tension that has caused from everything on the forum

That's what I'm saying.

You know that's not what I'm talking about. English is the most influencial language in modern day. Chinese is spoken by more people, but it's not spoken by more peoples.

You should know how the influence of English, including Spanish and French, came into being. It's one of the dividends left over from the colonial era.

Africa and India contribute a significant portion of the English-speaking population, solely because they were invaded and colonized by around 300 million native English speakers.

And? Does this fact make my point wrong?
