But how does it actually work? The explosion resistance is supposed to bring the damage down to about 16 per soul. With 20 souls, that should amount to 320 damage per teleport.

That would make about 30 teleports to kill AG, but I counted only 6. That means it's actually doing 1600 damage per teleport, 80 per soul. I assume that means explosion resistance is being completely ignored, which would be a bug.

I'm not very clear on this either. The author mentioned explosion resistance in the video and suggested using only 20 souls. The author said that more souls don't significantly increase the damage, and the specific reasons might need further testing.

I made a longer post about this in the other thread before it was locked, but summary:

They nerfed explosion resistance early in the beta. In my testing, the damage wasn't really enough to kill Deerclops in one go anymore. So not sure what he's doing different.

It still worked if you dropped 10 souls at a time, but it was slower, and required multiple drops of 10 souls. Anything more than 10 seemed really inefficient. The explosion resistance isn't like gunpowder, where you can drop 40 and then wait to drop another 40, because the souls don't all hit exactly at once. So every individual soul adds to the explosion resistance, and resets the explosion resistance timer.

I'll test it more if/when Wortox gets new stuff in a future hotfix before beta launch!
