Walter Camping/Scouting Skills Suggestion

That is the first time I'm making an opinion about new skills, I think Walter deserves that so I thought about some ideas for him.

Walter right now have five sections of skills: Wobby, Ammo, Slingshoot, Projectile Pro and Affinity. Thinking about that creating two new sections would be too much for only one skill tree so I'm going to planning with only one new section, Scouting Training.

Scouting Training would be an section focused in skills to improve Walter QoL, Camp Management and Resource Gathering, things he needs improve since he did not get any of it from the others sections.

Scouting Tree gonna have 4 new skills to acquire: Scouting Tools, Campsite Building, Professional Gathering and Pinetree Pioneer Bravery.

Scouting Tools: Fishing Rods have an extra chance to get bigger fishes and to get 2 fishes instead of one; Bug Net will give 10% Move Speed and have a little extra range when it is Walter who is using it; Repair Kits(Sewing Kit, Trusty Tape, Auto-Mat-Chanic, Void and Brightshade Repair Kits) use only half as much of their cost to repair things.

(I got a lot of thinking about what in the game would refer about Scouters tools and could be implemented, something that would be not to much from since the start and would help in later progression, I think Scouters would not be able to improve tools as if they were actual professionals with them, but instead be better applying their use, that is why I think  it makes sense Fishing Rods and Bug Net do not get extra durability but extra effects on their usage that would help their income. But also there would not be any real other good stuff that would benefit from this perspective than repair kits, as I think it is pretty decent they only get 50% cost reduction as it is actually their usage but also are tools that are not hard as much to farm and would not impact so much in actual big impact scenarios as fights or middle of exploration than would trying to improve other tools or weapons.)

Campsite Building: Walter have now a 3 new recipes, an alternative repice for Campfire that only cost 3 Twigs and 1 Cut Grass; Totaly new Improved Fire Pit that can be open for three sets of two predefined spaces one above for 1 Honey or Honeycomb and one below for 1 Twig, the income would be one Marshmallow in a Twig wich restores 5 Health, 10 Sanity and 10 Hunger; A new "chair" costing 1 log that is just a Log lying down in the floor for extra cosiness when gathering around Walter for the daily story around the campfires!; and as final for a real actual helpfull skill, Walter can trigger his Passive Sanity Regeneration from being around trees when he is nearby any tipe of campfire too.

(This skill was the one that make me start thinking about this post, I think Walter contributes basically nothing for the actual base construction when he is literally the Scouter of the group. This skill is more about improve very early exploration creating easy light source for everybody with the alternative Campfire recipe as well as an actual helpfull structure in the base with the new Improved Fire Pit, the Log chair is really just to make it feels more like a Campsite so you can put a little of the Walter design in your base and the passive buff is her to actually make something usefull for Walter himself as to being honest, no one wants trees in the middle of their base obstructing the passage just to recover a little of sanity that only one person can use.)

Professional Gathering: Walter gets additional resources from Basic Resource Sources such as All Sapling's Types, Grass Bush, Spiky Bush, Cactus, Wild Mushrooms Holes, Berry Bush(Classic and Leafy only), Wild Carrots and Cave Lichens.

(That one is pretty straight forward, that one is the skill that actually really helps Walter and improve him, helping getting resources is something that all characters should get and most of them do, Walter isn't good for any resource gathering right now, there is no such thing that he is a must for, so basic early game resources and basic food sources are a good term for him to being usefull, at least until further base development where this skill will decline since there are still better characters for getting this resources and plant farms gonna be way better, it will at least still be usefull a little and really help him at start when he still trying to get his things(Slingshoot upgrades and Woby Training or let be honest, Beefalo dressage).)

Pinetree Pioneer Bravery: Walter's Bravery is really inspiring, allies around him get confident when facing the fears of life, receiving 15% Sanity less loss from all Negative Sanity Aura; When Examining a monster/enemy Walter temporarily disable their Negative Sanity Aura for about 15 seconds(This perk is meant to have a CD); Walter also builds courage when fighting an enemy that he have examinated, getting bonus Move Speed while he still in battle with the target, the buff will also cease if he directly attacks another target.

(And for final this skill is focused for combat QoL and teamwork, not much to say, Walter actually does not need new improvements for combat since the Slingshoot is probably the best weapon in game right now, so instead of give him something aggressive I think some Move Speed is good for him in general so kiting would be easier and help him against group of monsters where he still get more in trouble, particularly when not mounting Wooby or Beefalos.)

Well, that is basically what I have tought about what would be cool, applicable and fair. For further thinking if he really does get new skills I would recommend reducing his Projectile Pro Lock for 3 or even 2 Ammo/Affinity points since you already gonna lose Ammo Options for getting other skills, that also means less option of resources to use as Ammo so reducing the Ammo Production on top of that would be really bad for him.
