So, slingshot band has a 30% chance of saving ammo that is being shot, and dreadstone rounds have a 50% chance of not breaking upon hitting an enemy. Curiously, even if the round was a freebie from the band, it can still drop upon hitting the target, so:

with this, we get, on average, 480-485% ammo efficiency (so, if we start with 30 dreadstone rounds, we can expect to shoot out about 140-150* rounds by the end).

I think that's pretty neat.

edit: *in practice, due to random nature of it, it can easily vary between 120-180, but it's likely to be closer to 140s.
