VGAstudent
Who said 64k was enough to store an operating system on? I forget who said that but it sounds like something Bill Gates might say. The problem is that being the kind of realistic guy I am, I'd like to get a decent piece of work out of my investments, and a microchip should last for more than 20 seconds; if it takes chilling the room, that's fine, make supercool environments capable of making superconductive microchips that might need a heat sink? If either of those suggestions sounds bad, why not just make it work per kWh, but give it a decent lifetime besides just 20 seconds, that's only good enough to store energy on a leaky battery that barely works as a capacitor until you can store the power on Ecobatteries that don't lose power over time. (I LOVE that game mechanic detail.) Tigin
How are you measuring 20 seconds? The base duration is 1800 seconds (3 cycles), and is affected by the Machinery skill so it can go up to 4185 seconds (6.975 cycles) with 53 Machinery.
