Does changing dupe priorities to 'X' help?

What if buildings had a priority 0? No manual use.

Also curious if all the animations don't have some effect on frame rate. Big sweep commands or lots of alerts all moving feels unnecessary at times. 

It's actually an eye sore when large colonies have any issue or production stalling. The cooking station constantly tells me out of material.
