If you watch anyone on twitch today, they most probably have their hats stored on the ground due to the fact that they occupy too much space in chests. I think adding a Hat Rack Structure with 12 Slots and add 12 Slots inside the Closet would fix this issue.

Having more than 20 mannequins in my base only for these is not very efficient because only 1 hat can be stored.

a hatrack would be brilliant. it bugs me that i cant look at the pretty hats unless i am wearing it or it is on the floor

I once suggested an idea of making a wardrobe structure to store clothing items that make sense to be stored. Or to add that feature to the wardrobe. Though it could also be nice to show all your hats and maybe body clothes without making a whole army of mannequins.
