The direction I want the Abigail player tag to be adjusted

Recommended Posts

I hope that the changes to the skill tree can balance the views of different players. After observing the many debates on the forum, the key to the balance is to regain the need to manage Abigail in combat, while not overly weakening Abigail's current status. survivability.

There will be people who will be dissatisfied whether the gamertag is removed or no changes are made to the gamertag.
Therefore, I think the appropriate adjustment direction is to make the recovery of Abigail's life brought by the elixir <the boss's dps.
Nerfing damage reduction, nerfing healing, and adding flask cooldowns (as a price for gaining the player tag) can all do this.

My favorite idea is to increase the sanity penalty by administering potions, forcing players to manage the frequency of potion use, to achieve an effect similar to a cooling mechanism. Abigail's inability to help Wendy deal with the shadow monster would add new management items while bringing back the need for Abigail's management.
Combat in Don't Starve itself is simple, but other (temperature, light...) factors enrich it. It brings the risk of losing control. Now, let Wendy face the shadow monster.
