Would adding some non-combat functionalities for Abigail instead of the "player tag" be a solution that satisfies both sides?

For example: exploration abilities, teleportation abilities , resource gathering abilities, and so on.

  1. 1. Are you willing to replace the player tag with some non-combat functionalities?(Just like exploration, teleportation , resource gathering)

    • No, the player tag is the most important.
    • If Klei enhance Wendy's survival experience with practical functionalities, I don't mind giving up the player tag.
    • I don't mind adding these new functionalities, just remove the player tag.
    • No, I can't accept the player tag, nor these new functionalities.

I've noticed the recent debates on the forum, and I'd like to propose a pause in our arguments.

Perhaps we could take a different approach and seek answers beyond combat?

My idea is to add some practical functionalities for Wendy and Abigail to replace the player tag.

For example: exploration, teleportation(which can significantly enhance Wendy's survival experience), resource gathering, and so on.

(I mentioned some suggestions in my previous post, which might serve as a reference, or you can share your brilliant ideas in this thread.)

So, are you willing to replace the player tag with some non-combat functionalities?

How about transmitting through tombstones all over the world?

The altar is transferred to the tombstone, this is functional enough, remove the player tag, English players should be satisfied.

Consume 5 mourning honors and move to any tombstone.

Player tags are a simple way to address Abigail's survival abilities.
I certainly believe that designers have other ways to solve Abigail's survival problem. The player tag is not necessary, but the prerequisite for removing it is that it is really a bad method - I first need to know why the player tag is bad in order to believe that removing it will result in good results.

If those who oppose the player tag believe that Abigail doesn't need to improve her survival ability at all, then I am definitely against it.

From another perspective, Wendy is a pure combat character. I can accept some interesting features provided on the skill tree, but I cannot understand why combat characters should not receive combat enhancements on the skill tree, especially when it becomes increasingly difficult for her to solve new versions of enemies.

通过世界各地的墓碑传播怎么样?

祭坛被转移到墓碑上,这足够实用,取下玩家标签,英国玩家应该满意。

消耗5个哀悼荣誉,并移动到任何墓碑上。

I really like tombstone transmission!! Some people may think ooc, but it's really fun, just like the zombies in pvz~

I think the issue people have is that, when combined with spectral cure-alls, it improves her survivability so much that it drastically reduces how much thought or concern you have to put into keeping Abigail from taking damage. Maybe if it was more interactive like with the repositioning commands, they'd be less against it.

Anyway, I really don't want to have to force a 5 minute timeout on sisturn every time Abigail dies.

If there log suit and pierogi, it would improve most character survivability so much, even if she wasn't Avigail.

I don't know why log suit and pierogi is OK but spectral cure-alls is NO.

Controlling Abigail is a good idea, but the current control plan is annoying. Players pursue great power to improve their quality of life, not to reduce it, and cannot let Abigail become a burden.

I think the point is that they enjoy the challenge of managing their own character and Abigail at the same time, and making Abigail's health almost a non-issue during boss fights takes away that extra management and makes her less interesting.

Those who consider it a "Challenge" can get an extra 3 skill tree points by not taking "Blessed Sisturn III" or can save resources and preparation time by not spamming Spectral cure-alls, while those who consider it "Bothering" can take on a challenge that suits their level with thorough measures, so the current specifications are a win-win.
