At present, the player tag is very good, and there is no need to change anything.

Gestalt Abigail is supposed to be the safe option that's good against bosses.

Therefore Gestalt Abigail should be the only form that can get the Player Tag and either Gestalt Abigail's DPS or her vex debuff should be significantly lower than that of Shadow Abigail.

If Gestalt Abigail has way better defense, then Shadow Abigail should have way better offense.

I think that the fact that so many people choose Shadow Abi over Gestalt does not mean that Gestalt is badly designed, on the contrary, it is an innovative design and it just needs more tweaking. People are used to the old Abi's way of attacking, and if you're going to get them to change their habits and choose a new form, especially if the form can't be easily switched to, it has to have a sufficient advantage in one aspect (fight or survival).
 

I cant vote the first one since I'm not a fan of both of them, and this makes me sad since I can't give my opinion to other questions.....

We should not ignore general form of Abi which are nor Lunar or Shadow form.

general form does matter.

Imo, in current state she is impossible to balance, without either being inferior to Shadow Abi or being OP. Whole idea of single target Abi should be scraped and her purpose rethink

Maybe it's true. If they can't make Gestalt compare with Shadow, at least give her a more convenient form of conversion - as someone mentioned, use the moon stick or the star stick to convert. Do you think the gestat Abi should be replace by another form?Any ideas?

My idea about Gestalt Abigail, make her not attack unless Wendy attacks once and grants her "Reverse Vex", and either remove her player tag or reduce Gestabby's max HP until she has the same defensive power as before to create the need for players to pull aggro or manipulate Abigail to avoid her, . but leave the effect that remains at 1 HP to prevent instant death.
Instead, increase Gestabby's attack power to about 3-4 times what it is now.

This is an attempt to completely change Wendy's playstyle from the previous "Abigail supports Wendy" to "Wendy supports Abigail" to differentiate other Abbys, make Gestabby is more suited for stand play, compared to Debuffer Shabby for party play, and reflects my personal preference for "high risk, high reward".

New idea: Let Gestal get a certain speed boost/flexibility boost/invincible frame when it is below 25% hp, which is much more useful than just letting her give up the attack. At the same time, she can still attack; but if Wendy stops attacking, she will no longer attack.

 

Uncertain idea: Let Gestat get a hypnotic effect when it is below 25% hp (similar to the moon spirit)

Yes, the gestalt is a very interesting form. It has more potential to become a great branch. You just need to make some adjustments.
