What are the reasons for being satisfied with Wendy's Skill Tree?

DST is a game that has been updated for a long time. If it were five years ago, Wendy's intensity was indeed good, and with her sister accompanying her, she faced less survival pressure than other characters.But not now.For this skill tree:

In terms of combat, as I mentioned earlier, "DST is a game that has been updated for a long time." In recent years, there have been mainline missions, and after completing them, you will face more challenges. Wendy's combat intensity can no longer keep up with the changes in the version. I believe Wendy players who have completed the mainline missions have experienced this, which is an undeniable fact. (At the same time, I doubt whether people who are satisfied with this skill tree have really used Wendy to complete the game's mainline. If not, his argument will be one-sided.) And the skill tree has not improved this point well.

In terms of daily quality of life, wizards can summon shadow figures for collection work; Librarians can use books to quickly access resources and even change the weather; Arsonists can create fireballs that illuminate their surroundings while allowing crops to grow at night; Lumberjacks can quickly cut down trees and mine; Plants can easily cultivate crops; Scientist can transform basic resources;Female workers can make spotlights to provide illumination and warmth. So, looking at Wendy, what abilities does she have? Even in multiplayer mode, she made almost no contribution to the team, and the skill tree did not give her any new abilities.

 So, in summary, this skill tree has not improved in terms of combat and daily life. What is its significance? Is it really a good work? It's been three weeks now, are there really few suggestions from players? But why are there still so many doubts? This is a thought-provoking question

那么综上,这个技能树战斗方面和日常生活方面都没有得到改善,意义是什么呢?真的是一个好的作品吗?它凭什么让玩家满意呢?

 

I dont see how producing a surplus of silk, glands and meat  and easily fending off hound waves isnt considered useful in daily lives. For most survivors silk is a rare resource for hownuseful it is.

As for the tree... Haunt and MG crown add a bunch of utility and can add a bunch more, team spirit adds a bunch of depth to Abigails combat, alignments offer an interestingn differentiation in playstyle, the first two tiers of potion skills is really nice qol, as is butterflies. Vengeful ghost is a fun perk and blessed sisturn 1 & 2 are nice to have. The art for the mg crafts is immaculate, as is her unique revive. Finally, therenis an immense amount of subtle synergy going on. Moving graves is convenient for beautification, but also creates safer pipspook quests, butterflies produce flowers for sisturn, but also for gravestones and sacrifices. Deep draught increases potion duration, including when applied to the flower crown, etc, etc.

new skills are interesting but too useless. Maybe there will be some balance. But for now, it's just not enough.

I just want to correct that obtaining silk and glands is the ability that Wendy already had before the skill tree.

 

As for the skill tree, Gestalt needs to enhance survival or damage, not to mention, Shadow Aby needs to reduce the damage before the rift and increase the plane damage; personally, I am not satisfied with the urn and the new corolla skills. I think they need more adjustments. For specific suggestions, please refer to the posts published by others; the resurrection skill needs amount The external use is to distinguish it from the meat cube statue; butterfly conversion needs to reduce the cost;

 

The only thing I am satisfied with in the skill tree is team spirit and grave skills.

Im fine with wanting balance, in fact there still a lot to go with balance IMO. Headstones, MG, Team Spirit and Lunar all still need buffs.  I just dont think the people calling for a full reset to the skill tree are being fair.

They are, i agree. The op was just saying she ddint contribute anything to the group before the tree.

As ive mentioned a lot, the trees current design has immense potential, just needs a good round of buffs to make it more appealing

These are solved by other character's skill tree, like Willow with Bernie or lunar flamethrower, moose Woodie charge, some merms with Wurt, they all in a low cost.

I totally agree!

Asking for reset is not only impossible but also mess the environment where we give suggestions.

i have been asking for some minor changes since the third version came out.

Maybe you can leave your precious opinions in my post.

Will probably do so in a bit. I do appreciate your post a lot. By far the most accurate take imo.

I dont think that I can think of a single perk that cant be boiled down to "A matyer of efficiency"

Weregoose is more efficient travel. Willows mini suns are more efficient star caller, winonas bridges are more efficient grass rafts. 

Like, in that case wolfgang has literally zero perks.

Furthermore, for improving efficiency in the early game, directly dismantling spider dens to obtain silk is more efficient than killing spiders; thus, Wendy does not have a significant advantage in obtaining silk during the early stages of the game either. Spider dens are quite abundant and will reproduce through the spider queen, so there's no need to worry about extinction at all. Dismantling spider dens and pig houses to quickly acquire early resources is a rather basic gaming skill.

Only good in singleplayer or with 1-2 Friends.  Playing a crowded server this is Bad practice.
