Feedback on Wendy Skill Trees... (No to criticism or personal attacks)

Hi! This is my third post about Wendy Skills, and it would be the last. I still read the forums about her feedback and most of them are really negative. I hope that this post is will not came out as a complaint or an attack to the developers but as feedback.

This might be a long post so please bear with me. Also, English is not my first language, so I apologize for any grammar errors.

Before we start, to the Klei Developers. I really hope that this won't be seen as criticism or an attack. I understand that you guys are dealing with player's complaints in this forum and it's really awful. I want to take this opportunity that I'm really thankful for being part of your little weird game. I truly enjoyed DST especially when I wasn't having a good time in real life. 

Playing DST made me escape the reality for a long period and it really helps with my mental health. Therefore, I will not give up playing this game. There might be sometimes that I need to stop playing to focus the reality, but I always find myself going back to the game.

I am completely aware how small the company is and to be honest, you guys never disappointed with the things that you guys have made for the past years. I really wish you guys to be more successful (Even though, you guys are already successful, but you get the point).

I have spent a lot of time in this game with Wendy and Abigail. I was really sad that she didn't get much content as other characters. It's not that I am being greedy, it's just that I feel so connected to the character and when I saw the skill trees of others, I saw how creative it was, and I was keen and excited for Wendy to have skill trees. I was hoping that we will get the same concept or unique ideas for her.

I've noticed that a lot of people in the forums who are against Wendy players who are submitting their feedback are receiving some hate and I've noticed that most of them were not Wendy mains or players who played Wendy but then spent more time with other characters more.

I know that their reasoning is that they were too excited with the Wortox and Walter skills to be released already, or they don't want to put more pressure to the developers.

For these people, please do understand why a lot of players are really unhappy with the beta and I personally believe that there's no one to blame here. I came up with the assumptions that the developers were thinking about the new players and help them survive the game but also have some skills for the late game players. The Wendy players were not happy about it to the point that we cannot accept the fact that, this is only what she got.

After trying the beta, I would like to discuss my own opinions about the skill trees and how I felt about it. I am confident that I am a late game player and Wendy is my main.

Blessed Sisturn 1 - Personally I like this skill since the petals can last longer in there. However, I personally don't put much effort into it as I only use it when Abigail died, and I want her to be back at level 3 quickly. With the Blessed Sisturn 3 and 4, I will definitely use it more often, but we will discuss the 3 and 4 later.

Blessed Sisturn 2 - I also like this tree as it can help new players to survive more and prevent them from dealing with the nightmare creatures. However, if I was new to the game. I personally won't take this skill tree as there's tons of ways to stay sane in game and there's lots of sanity food that can help new players already. If Abigail are able to attack nightmare creatures, I think this would be more fitting and help more new players to keep the nightmare creatures away just like Bernie. 

Blessed Sisturn 3 & 4 - To be honest, with some bugs on it. I cannot say much about these skills, I personally dislike it as the health is not permanent but temporary. Therefore, whenever Abigail's health loses that temporary health, I have to spend time waiting for her to regain her health back. Also, when using wormhole or sinkhole, it seems that Abigail teleports next to you and stop her for regaining health. For new players, I really believe that this will definitely help them as Abigal can tank hound waves and survive even more. These skills are definitely designed for new players who doesn't know how to fight in game.

Picnic Casket - I really love this skill since I'm able to have more inventory space for my elixirs.

Ghastly Experience - This design is definitely not for new players but for players who spent at least 100 hours in game. The fact that it requires Forget-Me-Lots and three mourning glories, makes it too expensive for new players. I believe that most of new players will not be able to use this skill tree as they will do other stuff surviving in game rather than crafting one of these. Unless they were told how to get the materials for it.

Strong Brew - I really dislike this skill since we all know that the only good elixirs are the Nightshade Nostrum and the Spectral-Cure All. I really hoped that this skill will be changed with 2 slots of Elixirs that allows Abigail to take 2 regular elixirs. This way, during a boss fight, Abigail can keep her attack boost while healing.

Extra Yield - I like this skill as it gives a chance for Wendy to craft an extra elixir. However, the downside is that you need 4 skills to be able to unlock it. 

Morning Glory 1 - This skill is definitely designed for the Shadow Abigail; it also helps with decorations or with Pearl's quest so that you don't need to bring a bug net. The downside of this skill is that it's too expensive to craft. I will probably use my mourning glories with the elixirs and use the bug net to capture butterflies.

Mornining Glory 2 / Wraith's Wreath - To be honest, this skill is definitely exciting. I enjoyed this skill tree and nothing to say much about it. The only downside of it is that. You need to keep that hat on to be able to have the elixirs effective. I wish that you don't need this and able to drink elixirs right away.

Morning Glory 3 / Perennial Altar - I know that the developers designed this skill to be able to help new beginners to revive. However, there's a lot of ways to revive in game already, we already have the life amulets, the touch stones and the Florid Postern. I don't think that this will help the new players much since it requires 10 mourning glories and 1 cutstone. Personally, I believe this skill is definitely a waste of use.

Vengeful Ghost - I know that this skill is made for fun. However, I really believe that this skill is awful. If I am new and I became a ghost and able to help for a short period. I think that this skill won't change that much as there's lots of ways to die in game.

Pipspook Quests 1 to 3 - This is the only skill that I personally love! I really don't have an issue with it.

Gravestone Skills 1 to 3 - I love the fact that you can now move gravestones in game. However, I personally cannot see using these skills at least once after creating a pig farm or designing my base. I personally think that they should merge as one and create more unique skills for her to unlock.

Team Spirit 1 to 4: Okay, this is something that we really need to discuss about. Personally, the only commands that I really liked is the Attack and the Haunt command. When the Haunt was added, I was so happy about it since I am one of the players who suggested this skill.

However, for the Scare and the escape command, personally, I really don't see these are useful. If Abigail is fighting multiple of mobs such as spiders and hounds. The point of it is to clear them all and not scare them as Abigail can pretty much stun lock most of small mobs.

The Escape command is awful, I really don't see what's the difference with the unsummon command and this command. I really wish that this would be replaced with another command for her. Since the unsummon, is more useful to help Abigail escape situations.

Lastly the Lunar and the Shadow Skills - Okay, with these skills, I personally liked these skills. However, there's some changes that happened with the Gestalt Abigail.

When it was released, a lot of players were not happy about it as Gestalt Abigail can deal with bosses on her own. I do agree with these people as it makes the game too easy. However, when I was trying it, I was really happy about it since I'm able to fight with Abigail and she's able to survive. 

That's what makes it special. It makes it special since you're able to fight and bond with the two sisters. I just don't understand why we are not able to raise her defense up instead. Now, that she's targetable. I personally think that this is way too much for a nerf. 

We already removed her AOE attack and she's the same as old Abigail with less damage per 5 seconds. I would rather have the Shadow Abigail as she's the same as the old one with more damage.

Her new changes are designed to baby sit her during a boss fight especially for bosses who deals tons of damage or AOE damage. I've said it before and will say it again, it's already stressful to fight bosses. Now, you have to babysit her and fight bosses at the same time. We all know that Abigail dies so quickly with 3-5 attacks by the bosses. She's mostly unable to be useful during boss fights.

Anyways, if you're still reading, thank you for hearing my thoughts. Again, this is definitely my last posts. If she's going to be released like this. I'm really sorry but I don't think that I'm able to play DST again or play Wendy. I would rather player Willow since she feels like Wendy but with some attitude about burning everything.

If the developers don't feel like hearing our feedback. I'm afraid that there's nothing that I can do about it. I at least tried my best to speak my voice.

[EDIT]: To the developers, please do not release her skills and postpone it instead. I believe that you guys are able to have more creative ways for her skill trees as most of these are really not fitting for her design. Please take your time and please keep on posting more DST contents.

I really appreciate the effort you've put into expressing your feedback and personal experiences with Wendy's beta skill tree. I feel sorry if the current state of the skill tree leaves you unfulfilled, but I hope this reply helps bring more attention to your post.

Rest assured, we're reading and valuing your feedback, just as I'm sure others are too. I noticed you've been contributing to the forums since 2020, and I hope this won't truly be your last post. Your voice is important, and I believe it deserves to be heard by more players and, hopefully, the developers.

It will be cool if Vengeful Ghost can work on friendly allies like bunny man and pig man, March of the Undead! 

Wraith's Wreath requires the hat for a reason. The developers have said that they don't want any character to be used as a tool. If one values this hat and the elixirs buff on players, one should just keep playing Wendy. But, some buffs just aren't powerful at all, to be honest.

The Gravestone just not fun to me, should be compacted into two or even one skill point and I think the Gravestone that Wendy had taken care of should also spawn moshrooms so that it could be more useful. 

Maybe we can give Wendy a skill point that she can get butter more frequently. I mean, she is quite close to butterflies right?  HaHa.

I think it will be very useful for intimidation commands when cleaning up the underground clockwork creatures in the early days of the game. As for escape, someone has mentioned that it is released faster than taking back Abigail. I don't know if this is true.

considering huge amount of work if they redo the whole tree,just adjust buffs of  Ghastly Experience elixirs   Distilled Vengeance and Vigor Mortis  on players.That should be enough I think
