What's even more gratifying is that they actively listen to the player's suggestions to make the skill tree more interesting. Walter's Shadow Slingshot rubber band, for example, is a genius design that fits perfectly into the game's content, rather than a clumsy patch to make up for its own shortcomings. A variety of practical and special effects of the ammunitions can also be seen. There's something comforting about the fact that Wortox's designer has made his skill tree look like a scale. His design has a strong correlation, and one skill can make another skill play a stronger effect. There is also the additional effect of balance tilt, which is really unexpected. These two designers undoubtedly understand the game as well as the players, and also truly love their work and do not see them as a task to be perfunctory, they are important for the future development of klei. I sincerely hope that the two designers can continue to work hard and make new achievements, and the future will be bright. Torpeda Posted December 10, 2024 Share Posted December 10, 2024 I think Wortox's and Wendy's skill trees are close to being perfect and require some minor tweaks here and there. Walter on the other hand seems unfinished and his skill tree has a lot of problems. Customization is great and Slingshot feels more rewarding because of it, but different ammo types and Woby require definitelly more work.
