That's exactly how it works tho, you have to apply the elixir to the garland, I agree that this should be fixed

Thats fair. Its a skill that still needs a lot of refinement either way, so I hope they get the chance to implement it enough to make it good.

We are starting to run out of beta time though, so well see. As it is its a fine skill that not everyone will like.

About the Corolla: The effect now is that once you remove it and put it back on, its effect will disappear. You just want abi to be op, that's it...

I genuinely wanna know how you handle post-rift content using the shadow/lunar power (especially dealing with the bosses) because in case of Wendy & Abi, if Abi is not optimal for post-rift fight then you will be forced into playing as weaker Wilson or repeatedly summon Abi until the bosses are defeated. The point is, even for experienced players starting new run without spending Insight or new players that manage to reach this point, Wendy skill tree (ultimately the shadow/lunar power) feels not rewarding enough to use for post-rift content. I haven't tested the current beta and I am not used to the new advanced Abi gaming for post-rift content so need more data excluding the same methods like Wilson and Wes run.

In fact, I've tried fighting the rift creatures with Gestalt Abbi in the beta today , and it didn't work out well. You don't need to pay attention to him because he obviously doesn't play Wendy.

My negative attitude towards the Crown is mainly due to the fact that many effects and equipment in the game are tied together. Some equipment is necessary in some scenes, but can reduce the trouble players need to deal with or provide gains in other scenes. However, the Crown forces players to make choices. Desert goggles make it convenient for players to fight against Antlion or move around in moon storms, while eyebrella can avoid the dampness and lightning problems of spring (raincoats do not provide defense, and shadow umbralla cannot be obtained early in the game). Without void cowl, the damage of shadow reaper will be greatly reduced, which greatly limits the effectiveness of potions. When Wendy tried to share effects with other players, these issues not only remained unresolved, but also intensified to some extent. wigfrid, Wormwood, and Wortox can obtain additional effects for certain equipment through skill trees, and they need to make trade-offs for Wendy, which I think is inappropriate. I agree with the design of the drinking potion, but for some of the potions, I think some adjustments are needed. Without considering the impact of equipment selection on the applicability of the medication, and taking into account the opportunity cost, as the glands can be made into healing salve, the spectral cure-all actually consumes 60 health, but only provides 75. My feedback and thoughts.

First, the design of the skills seems to be mostly completed, and it may be too late, but I’d like to share my ideas.

Regarding Wendy’s Mourning Glory, I’ve hoped for quite a while that she would gain an ability similar to Elden Ring’s Spirit Ashes.

For example, you could craft an item to summon the Spirit of Deerclops.
The crafting materials could include core items like Deerclops' Eyeball, a special item, along with a lot of Mourning Glory, and a cost in health or sanity.
Additionally, summoning the spirit could drain a significant amount of sanity.
The summoned Ghost Deerclops would have low health, but if it had unique abilities like wide-area attacks and freezing, it would be both fun and useful.
The summoning item could still be reused to summon the spirit again, but with a very long cooldown.

I’d also like to focus on Pipspook as a pet-like follower that persists even beyond the shards.

When summoned from the Labyrinth grave, Pipspook could search for something lost, either underground or on the surface.
Once you find it, you’d receive a “Lost Ancient Artifact” as crafting material.
Since you won’t know where it will be found, you’ll need to explore large areas until Pipspook begins guiding you.
I believe this would offer a suitable challenge for players.

 

Regarding Wendy’s basket, I believe it would be more appropriate to arrange it 4x2 instead of 2x4

As for the spell wheel, the gesture wheel mod has a feature when the wheel opens, it centers the cursor for convenience.
Could you take a look at this mod and officially add it and make it available as an option?

In my opinion, the invincibility frame of the callback Abigail is obviously more reasonable compared to the callback damage, as Gestalt is positioned as high survival, as opposed to Shadow Abi's positioning is high attack but vulnerable.
