Knabsack suggestions

1. The child abduction bonus

The knabsack may capture mobs, INCLUDING ones outside of bugnet ones.

For example : Frogs, lunar frogs, moonquay crabs and everything else you can put in a trap.

2. The genocide bonus

The more souls you nab from dead mobs the more powerful it gets, however, not grabbing a soul after a while (4 minutes?) makes the buff start diminishing . This is more comfortable than clogging your inventory with soul jars, atleast in my opinion.

This buff would also work with killing creatures in your inventory to get souls. (soul jars have made it easier to hoard souls, so giving killing living creatures in inventory a duel purpose in buffing your weapon would be nice.)

What if wortox got a stackable buff from gathering souls that expires after a few minutes. Like +1 damage per soul gathered, resets upon not gathering a soul in 5 minutes

Soul bonus thing is cool, bit unsure just because Knabsack's damage balancing has been all over the place. But with the soul jars it'd be a neat excuse to do the old way of bringing small animals with you to murder once again.

I really like the abduction thing, idk if Klei would want to do that just because then the mobs would need the treatment that spiders got with Webber's rework. And it seems a bit OP to me if you can do it while they're awake (clearing an entire frog rain that way for example. Maybe only if they're sleeping/passive?) but Iove the concept of scooping up things. That bit of flavour would go a long way IMO.

1) In terms of soul bonus, the main idea is encouraging you to use the capture part of the sack to store up a boost when you need it most.

Or just slowly slowball damage like a madman in that hound wave or bee slaughter, your choice.

2) Capturing hostile creatures means you'd have other frogs and spiders on your tail, potentially. Also would give Wortox a more unique niche in being able to capture unique mobs i guess.

yes....PLEASE, the one thing i have problems with wortox skill tree is the knapsack it being a bad weapon, a not makin sense weapon even...like PLOEASE this NEEDS to change the knapsack, makin it more sense and more in line with krampus

Especially since it bwcones obsolete as a weapon once you get a rift open, due to lunar and shadow alignment.

if i think of wortox i dont think of having his special weapon, if i think of an bag like thing, i dont think of it as using it as a weapon but you know, store things in it

I agree with using Knabsack as a net, but as a portable trap it would make things complicated.

Spiders can be captured, sure. But Frogs die when they are captured. If anything I think it should be able to capture small passive critters like Rabbits, Birds(that are sleeping or stuck with sticky ammo of Walter) and Butterflies. Maybe Spiders, but that's a big maybe.

What if instead of aoe Gather with "Space" hotkey, he had Right Click short leap that would collect anything around aoe? That would allow you to collect items in aoe similar to the way we have now, and use the capture feature for small critters.
